Eat-Japan exists to promote greater awareness and enjoyment of Japanese food, drink and culture in the UK, and with this as our main aim, we carry out a wide range of activities.

Eat-Japan has long-standing experience in the field of recipe and food publications, including the award-winning Dashi and Umami: the Heart of Japanese Cuisine and the Healthy Recipes series.

Eat-Japan runs the number one English language site for Japanese food and drink, featuring a comprehensive UK Japanese restaurant directory, the ultimate online sushi-making guide (Sushi Perfect), a database of healthy and delicious Japanese recipes, all the latest info on EAT-JAPAN activities, feature articles on Japanese food, drink and a comprehensive glossary of cookery terms.

Events and Seminars

Eat-Japan organises a wide range of events, seminars, competitions and promotions designed to celebrate Japanese food, drink and culture. Events include the Original Sushi Competition, the UK Sushi Roll Championship and the World Sushi Awards. Eat-Japan also runs events at HYPER JAPAN, the UK’s biggest celebration of contemporary Japanese culture.

Eat-Japan has built up extensive professional and consumer networks in the fields of Japanese food, drink and culture, which can be leveraged for market research, events, and marketing/PR.

PR, Design & Production
